Mark your calendar and join us on the last Saturday of October! Members of the North Tuscaloosa congregation host a fantastic event for the community with fun activities for the whole family. Our visiting families are encouraged to eat with us and enjoy some local entertainment as we introduce the church, give out free study material, and build spiritual relationships. Each year we have close to a thousand in attendance and it continues to grow!

Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes is a youth leadership training program that began at the Corder Road Church of Christ in the 1960’s. The program began with a request of an eldership to start a youth training class to equip children with the leadership skills needed to ensure that the Church’s future would be secure. The goal of this ministry, known as “The MIX,” is to provide a welcoming space for college students at Tuscaloosa area schools (the University of Alabama, Stillman College, and Shelton State Community College) and for young professionals in their twenties and thirties. Our group maintains an active calendar with devotionals, service projects, and social events, and we have Bible classes each Sunday morning and Wednesday evening. Every Summer North Tuscaloosa puts on a Vacation Bible School for our community. Each year hundreds of children and adults from the area join us as we learn more about God’s word through interactive learning centers, dynamic skits, engaging bible classes and creative crafts that the children get to take home. Our teens help by putting on the skits each year as well as helping out in classrooms and learning centers.

The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to provide an avenue by which every lady may be appropriately involved in service of the Lord’s Church. The Ladies Ministry has been organized in order to help us become more aware of the needs of each lady and to give each lady the opportunity to be involved in these good works. The mission and purpose of the Youth Ministry is to facilitate the spiritual growth of the youth of our congregation and others in order to create a foundation for their walk with Christ throughout their life, and to focus on knowledge of the Bible while using social events to promote fellowship and spiritual development.
